Chemonics seeks a Deployment Manager to join the Digital Transformation team, supporting design and global deployment of Chemonics’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to Chemonics projects worldwide. Implementation of our ERP system, Dynamics 365, is a key pillar of Chemonics’ Digital Transformation initiative to provide modern, digital solutions that allow our global workforce to seamlessly collaborate and manage our projects on a cloud-based platform. The primary role of the Deployment Manager will be to support deployment of Dynamics 365 for Operations to Chemonics' field offices worldwide through training, communications, and system configuration. The Deployment Manager will be responsible for transitioning field offices over to the new system across core business functions including financial management, procurement, human resources, grants management, payroll, etc. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct project field office deployments of Dynamics 365 through training, data migration, and change support, in coordination with the ERP Core team

  • Participate in system functional design sessions and contributing to continuous system improvement during and after deployments based on field office inputs and observations

  • Coordinate deployment logistics, plans, and schedules with PMUs, field offices, and other Deployment Specialists

  • Provide first line support and mentoring on the system post-deployment to field office staff

  • Assist with development of training content and materials for Dynamics 365 deployments to field offices

  • Conduct remote, classroom, and one-on-one end-user trainings in field offices and/or country platforms

  • Coordinate field office deployment schedules and completing progress reports for each deployment

  • Communicate and escalate relevant project issues and information to ERP Core team during and after deployment

  • Conduct system configuration validation for each deployment/field office, as well as any pre-departure work

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate field office staff on Dynamics 365 implementation

  • Train other Deployment Specialists as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum four years of professional experience in international development, project management, financial management, project operations, and/or other related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of Chemonics home and field office business processes
  • Chemonics field operations, HR, financial management, and/or accounting experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Experience delivering training in various formats including classroom, one-on-one, and remote
  • Proven ability to learn, understand, and apply new systems and software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Experience with project field office startup strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with financial and/or other business software systems required, training on Dynamics 365 will be provided
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Willingness to travel to conflict zones and/or other high-risk environments
  • Willingness to travel up 75% of the time for the first one-two years at minimum
  • Full professional fluency in French or Spanish highly preferred
