Title: After Care In-Charge 
No. of Positions: 3 
Location: Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation 
Salary: Rs. 12,000-18,000 based on experience and skills 
Reporting To: Deputy Project Manager (ECE)

About the Program 
The ‘Stay At Work’ Project aims to encourage women, especially mothers with children in the age 
group of 0-6 years, who have not taken up jobs/have left jobs due to childbirth or in order to look 
after their children, and belong to lower socio-economic classes to join/re-join the workforce. The 
main lever of change to achieve this objective is the provision of accessible, affordable and good 
quality childcare to ensure that women do not face disproportionate burden of childcare that 
prevents them from taking up paid work. 
Key Responsibilities 
 Manage teaching and learning interactions with 25 preschool aged children. 
 Plan activities to keep children between the age of 3-6 years engaged. 
 Conduct online and offline sessions and activities with the children. 
 Interact effectively with children, caregivers and other stakeholders of the Program. 
 Conduct regular meetings / home visits with the children’s parents and caregivers. 
 Actively attend and participate in all the trainings and meetings and other program 
processes. 
 Effectively interact with young children, reflect and make necessary modification in 
facilitating sessions. 
 Update reporting manager of any challenges being faced while working with children and 
come up with effective solutions.  Skills and Qualities 
 Skills to effectively work with young children in the age group of 3-6 years. 
 Planning innovative and engaging activities for the target group. 
 Working with the family of the child as a whole. 
 Ability to conduct online/offline sessions for children using platforms such as Google 
Meet and in community. 
 Ability to document child's work using Microsoft excel and word. 
 Comfortable in using technology and operating emails for communication and data 
sharing.

Expectations 
 12th passed onwards are eligible for the role. Graduates preferred. 
 Should have completed a short course in early childhood education and/or 6 months/1 year 
experience as an early childhood teacher. 
 Openness to understand the changing paradigm of preprimary education. 
 Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English and Hindi/Marathi. 
 Willingness to travel in project locations. 
 Person needs to be self-initiator. 
 Ability to persistently work with the stakeholders through the Pandemic.
