Grant Management Delegate

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh with frequent travel to Coxs Bazaar.
Contract type: Fixed term, 12 months - Start date: January 1st 2020
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: GBP 26,598 pa plus monthly subsistence allowance and accommodation

British Red Cross (BRC) are looking for a Grants Management Delegate to be responsible for the management of grants directed towards the population movement operations in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. You could be a key part of the team helping BRC to reach approx. 50,000 people in both guest and host communities in Cox's Bazaar.

The Grants Management Delegate will be responsible for maintaining an overview of grants directed towards the Population Movement Operations in Cox's Bazar. The Delegate will oversee grant management, ensuring efficiency and quality of project implementation, robust compliance and reporting and maintaining positive relationship with donors. You will also support the management of our relationships with partners in order to ensure effective capacity development in contract management and with donors to maintain required levels of funding to support the country programme.

You will be part of the Management Team of the BRC Bangladesh Country Office, reporting to the BRC Country Manager in Bangladesh and will be working closely with in-country team as well as BRC UKO counterparts and BRC Regional teams.

We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual who has grant management experience in a similar context within the Red Cross movement or similar humanitarian organisation. We require strong technical knowledge of donor funding proposals and log frames in thematic areas, such as WASH, DRR, Livelihoods and Organizational Development. You will also need excellent communication skills to maintain strong relationships with partners, donors and BRC HQ in London.
