Position: Junior Manager – Farm Livelihood Technology Group
Duty Station: Rudhapadar, Ganjam, Odisha
Reporting to: Thematic Manager 
Management responsibility
 Coordinating between Farm Livelihood Technology Group (FLTG) members as per 
specific project requirements
Technical responsibility
 Technical guidance of FLTG members on Agronomy related aspects
 Technical guidance of FLTG members on Technology related aspects 
Skills and Competencies
Management skills 
 Ability to coordinate between team members
 Documentation skills to prepare village specific report
Technical skills
 Understanding of Soil characteristics and related cropping compatibility
 Ability to facilitate training sessions for rural communities
 Understanding of latest Technology which can used to support Livelihoods
Desirable qualities include willingness to travel extensively in the field and contribute to the 
core work of Gram Vikas.
Educational Qualification
 Bachelors in a field related to Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering Work Experience
 3 to 5 years’ experience in a rural development organisation. This experience can be-
o Agricultural guidance, monitoring and reporting 
o Includes being part of or leading a technical team
 Opportunity to work with a large grassroots development organisation
 Exposure to multi-disciplinary working context, multiple partner organisations and 
community institutions
 Willingness to spend up to 50% time in the field
 Starting CTC will be ₹ 4.20 lakh per annum
 Salary package includes Provident Fund contribution, health insurance coverage and 
other allowances excluding Travel Allowance. 
 Accommodation will be provided in the field locations.
