Programme Manager – Ignite, Communities | Chennai

job nature : Permanent Full-time

 Position: The Manager (Ignite) is responsible for managing, coaching and developing the team to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of all learning centres in slum communities. He/she will have to work closely with employees, funding agencies and the community.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Build a strong culture of ownership towards impactful project delivery among all stakeholders
• Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations and delivery of the programme
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, report on the effectiveness of the programme and engage all stakeholders proactively
• Prepare annual budget and manage programme cost

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

• Minimum five years’ experience with atleast two years in managing a team
• Teaching experience can be helpful
• Any Graduate or Post Graduate preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to drive outcome oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
• Good influencing skills, people engagement, networking and listening skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Emotional maturity to empathize with the perspectives/needs of team members
• Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven
• Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

• Scope: Full time
• Remuneration: Rs. 6,00,000 per annum
• Location: Chennai
• Minimum commitment: Two Years
