Postman Foundation is a non-profit making registered voluntary organization. The organization is working on the issue of health, Livelihood, education, Agriculture, women empowerment,  and disability for the last 4 years in India.  PF is looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager to support our Community Empowerment Program in Bihar.

Professional/experienced individuals from the voluntary sector willing to work for a longer period may apply for the position as required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager will report to the Project head of the organization.
  • Develop effective project design, strategic planning, implementation modules, monitoring, research & analysis, including a logical framework with clear outcomes, outputs, activities, and indicators for our donor.
  • Lead the team and provide consistent guidance, support, and direction to the thematic interventions.
  • Ensure active involvement in fundraising, liaisoning, and proposals writing actions to support Fund generation of the organization
  • Ensure timely implementation of Programmes within budget and responsible for integrity and coherence of the programmes.
  • Strategic Initiatives were taken for problem-solving and risk mitigation.
  • Conducting searches on funding opportunities and communications with potential National & International donors.
  • Design, document, and implement a systematic and integrated donor relations program.
  • Facilitate BJSAM partners in effective implementation of the interventions and to improve their internal monitoring system.
  • Undertaking Field Visits, monitoring and evaluating the results and collect feedback and testimonials for the project.
  • Adding value to the existing thematic areas in terms of approaches, methodologies, and perspectives for present and upcoming services
  • Active engagement in any other responsibilities, as assigned by the organization from time to time.

Documentation:

  • Preparation of progress & other essential reports to be submitted to the donor on time
  • Ensure quality in partners’ reports by providing feedback and inputs within set parameters
  • Consistency in data and information shared - Data accuracy
  • Quality of Data analysis and projection
  • Documenting Good Practices, Results and sharing feedback with the team
  • Understanding and analyzing challenges faced – documentation of findings

The Candidates should have:

  • A minimum of a master’s degree in Rural Development/Social Sciences with 3-5 years of experience preferably in Education & Livelihood. 
  • Possess good communication, presentation, reporting & documentation skill
  • Working Knowledge of Hindi and English is compulsory
  • Should have good working knowledge on computer skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to extensive travel in Bihar & Jharkhand & other prospects area of the organizational operations.

Salary: Rs.60, 000 – 65,000 (CTC) per month commensurate with ability and experience.
